About
De Facto Traders is an independent Danish proprietary trading firm, founded in 2017 and based in central Aarhus. We trade equities across the European markets with our own capital, and we manage no funds for external parties.
Our Business
All our models and tools are our own. We use them to quantify edges and execute on them, and all of our attention goes into research, systems and execution. Because we trade our own book, our research is tested in the market every day. To reduce the volatility of our results, we hedge out general market movements and stay market-neutral.
The Team
We are a small team of traders, quantitative researchers and developers, with expertise in equity markets, risk management and engineering. Decision paths are short, and you see the effect of your work the same trading day.
